Contrary to popular belief casino credit cards are still in use. Major Credit Cards such as Visa are accepted at online casinos while Amex is accepted at some online casinos. You must keep in mind that even though they are accepted, it does not mean that deposits can be made from your particular credit card. Your financial institution may have started and will continue to block online gambling transactions. A very important note you must remember is that you cannot request withdrawals back onto your credit card.
You must request a withdrawal in the form of a check, an Echeck, into your UseMyWallet/QuickTender account or possibly a wire transfer deposit into your bank account. At that point, the casino will submit your transaction to the bank for authorization. Once your transaction was successful, your casino balance should reflect the amount of the deposit.
If you are depositing at a Rival casino, you will go the cashier and click on “Make a Deposit”. Click on the Visa/MC logo and enter in the amount you want to deposit, the credit card type, the card number, the expiration date and the card verification number from the back of the credit card. From this point on, when making a deposit, you will be able to choose the card from the drop down list here. You will need to enter it in every time but you will need to enter in the security code with every transaction. After this is all entered, click on deposit and the casino will send the transaction to the bank for authorization. Upon a successful transaction, your balance should reflect the amount of the deposit.
If you are depositing at a Real Time Gaming (RTG) casino, you will go to the cashier and click on deposit. In the list of deposit methods, choose the Visa/MC logo. Enter in the card number, expiration date, card type, security code and dollar amount you want to deposit. Click on “deposit to account” and the casino will send the transaction to your bank for authorization. Unless you choose to use the Express Deposit option, you will have to enter in your credit card information every time you wish to make a deposit. Your balance should reflect the amount of the deposit after a successful transaction.
When you request a withdrawal of you winnings, you will be requested to submit verification documentation of your identity to the casino. This is commonly known as Fax Back Docs and is a security measure for you and the casino. You will need to email scanned copies or fax copies of the front and back of your signed credit card(s). A copy of your photo ID with your current address and a credit card authorization form with all your credit cards used at that casino, will also need to be sent in. You can obtain the authorization form from the casino. Remember, winnings cannot be requested to be put on casino credit cards.
